Nissan’s launch of the Cube in Europe is backed by the new campaign, “Symmetry Sucks.” The campaign in the United States is completely different in attempt to appeal to the different markets. The European campaign created by TBWA\PARIS is very clever and eye catching. The tagline,”Symmetry sucks. New Nissan Cube. Humans aren’t symmetrical why should their cars be?” is genius. Although I’m not a big fan of the car, I think this was the best possible way to represent the brand and capture an audience. The images are great and make you take a second look. The car is innovative so it’s only natural for it’s advertising to be. Take a look at the series of ads that consider if human’s were symmetrical.
